Guest Gallery "People of Taste" #25

My selections of photos taken by some of my friends are so tasteful.
I would like to introduce their own tastes shown in their photos.

Ice, Rock, River

Rocks  covered by snow, circled by a crown of ice.    Spring begins to melt
what winter had brought.  Nature changes everything, always.

You've been there unchanged for long time.
Yep, but didn't mean to insist this place.

...By the way, snow is a good friend of mine.
Look at this nice hat he gave to me.

Indian Ruins.NM

The Gila (pronounced 'Hila') Indian Ruins give a sense of quiet awe when
one thinks of the lives that were spent there many hundreds of years ago.
But no more.  Now there is only the silence of lives that remain only as
memories.

There used to be men as high and proud as those rocks.
Sweat and blood on this long and rough path.....

They are Indians !

Bank Cactus
Cactus changes with the rising and setting of the sun.  Shadows appear and
move across the cactus leaves.  Forms change, always.  the 3rd,4th, and 5th images .

To me, their leaves precisely describe what our hope means.

Redbud Tree

This last image is the first image of our Texas spring.  It is a redbud tree that blossoms at our home.
It tells us that winter has left and a new season of renewal has arrived.
