Tombstone of Ikutaro Nishida

Pen name, Sunshin

Tombstones are in line as called as Iwanami street in general.
Iwanami who came as the chairman of the funeral of Ikutaro Nishida liked this temple.
Nojo Abe, he and I went to the cemetery, and Iwanami told to have tombs
on both sides of Mr. Nishida. When Iwanami told that I would use this side,
then I have to take this side without arguing. They agreed like this,
and locations of tombs were decided in the sequence of Iwanami,
Nishida and Abe from the corner.
From "Tokeiji, Sanctuary for women" by Inoue-zenjo

Others include Toyoichiro Nogami, Yaeko Nogami, Tetsuro Watsuji,
Tetsuzo Tanigawa, Hideo Kobayashi, Jun Takami.

The restorer of Tokeiji

Tomb of Shakusonen Monk.

Nearby
There was the tomb of
Goseiyoudo nun, a daughter
of Godaigo Emperor.

Also called as
Matsugaoka Gosho.

And,
the restorer of Tokeij,
Kakuzan Shido Zen nun
(Mrs. Tokiimune Hojo)

She was a person
to seek principles and
gave aids to
unhappy women.

This is a story by Zenjo Monk.

Daisetsu Suzuki had told this before the war.

We cannot win the war against the US.

Sokichi Takatgi whose tomb locates here was a navy staff officer
but he was negative to the war. He made his effort to end to the war toward the US.
I owe him that I could come back alive from the front at the end of the war.

When the current emperor visited the grave when he was a prince,
he asked whose tomb was behind of the tomb of Mr. Abe, the head of Gakushuin University,
I told the name of Mr. Sokichi Tkagi.
Then their Highnesses told "Lord Sokichi Takagi!" in a dignified manner.

Bonze Zenjo talked in a straightforward manner, and never ended.
